Chihuly Ikebanas

Dale Chihuly is a sculptor who works with blown glass. He studied sculpture in Madison, Wisconsin. 4^th Graders learned about the art of blowing glass. Chihuly has created a blown glass art form that he calls Ikebanas. 4^th graders made Ikebanas out of recycled water bottles and tissue paper. They created flowers and other details to create the same swirly effect that Chihuly’s glass pieces create.
